SCRANTON, Pa. - Marymount women's soccer concluded their season on Wednesday night on the road, falling to the Marywood Pacers in the Atlantic East semifinals by a final score of 3-0.
The Saints made their way into the semifinals after a 5-1 route of Centenary on Monday evening, which is the furthest trip in a postseason since 1993, but came up short to the top-seeded pacers.
Notable
- Marymount held strong on the offensive end of the pitch, consistently putting up shots to add pressure to the Pacers. They were narrowly outshot, 15-12.
- Laney Placido had four total shots in the match, two of them being on goal.
- Breanna Harkins had three total shots, all on goal for the Saints in the effort.
How It Happened
- The Pacers put two into the net in the first ten minutes of play to give them a 2-0 advantage early in the match.
