OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Marymount University women's tennis team fell on Tuesday, 6-3, to Stevenson University.
The Saints' three points all came from wins during singles play.
At No. 2 singles, senior Carolyn Treuting defeated Jacquelyn Nesbeth, 0-6, 6-3, 1-0.
Freshman Angelica Dalton picked up the victory at No. 3 singles, taking down Kera Stove, 6-7, 6-2, 1-0.
The team's third win came from senior Sherly Pinto at No. 4 singles, 7-6, 7-6, over Alexandria Kramer.
The Saints will return to action on Friday, October 8, traveling to Mary Baldwin University. The match is set for 2 p.m.
