Box Score ARLINGTON, Va. -- The Marymount University women's soccer team was unable to find a way past the visiting Shorewomen of Washington College (Md.) on Wednesday evening, as the Saints fell by a final score of 3-0.
Prior to tonight's contest, the Saints honored their three members of the Class of 2022. Mia Londregan, Taylor Memon, and Mariana Allman were all recognized for their contributions to the program over their respective careers.
Washington came flying out of the gates at Long Bridge Park and opened the scoring just 3:13 into the contest. Marymount struggled for a foothold from there, as the Shorewomen cranked up the pressure with nine more shots in the first half.
The visitors struck one more time in the first half and added a third in the 68th minute. Mary Mac Bradshaw stood tall in goal for the Saints and made six saves. Laney Placido and Emely Obregon both had chances for MU, but their attempts narrowly missed the frame of the goal.
Marymount returns to Atlantic East Conference play on Saturday, October 23, when it treks to Aston, Pennsylvania, to battle Neumann University at 1:00 p.m.
