Arlington, Va. – Marymount University's women's volleyball team extends its winning streak to a program-best nine matches after defeating Gallaudet 3-1 (25-11, 17-25, 25-17, 25-21) in its home opener on Wednesday night.  The Saints remain undefeated on the season with the victory.

Fresh off Tournament MVP accolades, sophomore Emileigh Rettig continued her torrid streak with a match-best 16 kills to accompany eight digs.

Freshmen Ashley Cabrera and Rebecca Bateman poured in 14 and 13 assists, respectively, as senior Cassidie Watson took home a team-high 14 digs.

The Saints return to action on Friday when they travel to Aston, Pa., to face Moravian at the Neumann University Invitational.  Match time is set for 4 p.m.
