Fredericksburg, Va. – Marymount University's women's volleyball team fell 3-1 (25-23, 21-25, 25-23, 25-20) at Capital Athletic Conference foe Mary Washington Friday night. The Saints drop to 17-11 on the season and 4-2 in league play.

Emily Shultis led the Saints with 16 kills, while Johanna Hummel also tallied nine in the match. 

Brianne Fitzpatrick paced the Saints offensively with 32 assists.

Rettig and Courtney Phung anchored Marymount's defensive effort, posting 21 and 15 digs, respectively.
