Daytona Beach, Fla. – Marymount University's men's basketball team dropped a 70-65 decision to Roanoke in the opener of the Daytona Beach Shootout on Wednesday night. The Saints fall to 3-6 on the season.

Reed Scott led the Saints with 20 points while Jesse Konadu added 13 and Antonio Rouse had 12. 

Scott also paced the Blue and White with eight rebounds while Rouse grabbed six.

Kwasi Amponsah led the Maroons with a game-high 24 points. 

Marymount returns to action on Friday as it takes on Washington & Lee to close out the Daytona Beach Shootout.
