Box Score Arlington, Va. – Marymount University's volleyball team opened its Capital Athletic Conference home schedule with a 3-0 (25-16, 25-14, 25-19) loss to visiting Stevenson on Wednesday night. The Saints fall to 2-7 overall on the season and 0-2 in league play.
Jenn Forbes led the Saints with a team-high eight kills while Johanna Hummel added six and Erin Allison chipped in five. Melissa Warren paced the MU offense with 23 assists while Hummel tied a match-high with three service aces.
Defensively, Michelle McCormick led Marymount with 18 digs while Allison added 12.
Marymount returns to action on Saturday with a tri-match on the road at non-conference rival Catholic and against Misericordia.
