Towson, Md. – Marymount University's volleyball team went 2-2 to finish in the third place at the Goucher College Invitational over the weekend. Junior middle hitter Christine Gallart was named to the All-Tournament Team for the Saints.

Dropping a pair of matches to open the tournament on Friday, the Saints fell 3-0 (25-9, 25-15, 25-15) to Capital Athletic Conference foe and eventual tournament champion Stevenson in non-league play. Marymount then lost to tournament runner-up Farleigh Dickenson-Florham 3-0 (25-23, 25-23, 25-14).

On Saturday, the Saints rebounded to claim a pair of victories to secure third place in the tournament. Marymount defeated Lancaster Bible 3-1 (25-17, 25-14, 25-27, 25-20) before outlasting host Goucher 3-2 (25-23, 16-25, 18-25, 25-17, 15-13).
