Bridgewater, Va. – Marymount University's volleyball team lost a pair of non-conference contests at a tri-match hosted by Bridgewater on Saturday. The Saints dropped the opener 3-0 (25-22, 25-16, 25-17) to Guilford before falling 3-1 (25-16, 25-20, 24-26, 25-15) to the host Eagles.

Michelle McCormick paced the Saints (9-17) offense with six kills against the Quakers before adding a team-high 13 against Bridgewater.

Defensively, Chelsea Gates led Marymount with 15 digs against Guilford and chipped in another 22 against the Eagles.

The Saints return to Capital Athletic Conference play Thursday, October 21, on the road at York (Pa.).
