Jamie Reynolds

Jamie Reynolds is in her seventh season as the head coach of theMarymount University women’s lacrosse team following a yearas an assistant in 2006.

A former standout with the Saints, Reynolds inherited a 3-14 teamand transformed it to a .500 club just two years later with an 8-8record. Marymount’s even record that year was the second-bestin program history, following only the 12-7 campaign that Reynoldscaptained as a senior in 2003.

Nine Saints have earned All-Capital Athletic Conference honorsunder Reynolds, including a pair of first team accolades and 2012CAC Rookie of the Year Megan McGuirk.  Marymount had onlyproduced two first team honorees the prior 10 seasons ofcompetition combined. In addition, Reynolds was an assistant coachfor the Saints in 2006 when SpringAnne Hatfield garnered CAC Rookieof the Year recognition.

Reynolds has also coached in a pair of international tournaments,at the Prague Cup in 2007 and London, England in 2008, withAmerican International Sports Tours Select Teams.

Despite playing just three years with the Saints, Reynolds issixth all-time in program history in goals (77), assists (36) andpoints (113). She was tabbed Second Team All-CAC as a senior in2003 while captaining MU to its best record in program history andits first and only win in the CAC Tournament. Reynolds also playedfor the Marymount basketball team for one season.

Following graduation, Reynolds played on the club team at theUniversity of Pittsburgh while working on her master’sdegree. While at Pitt she also served as an assistant basketballcoach for Carnegie Mellon University.

Reynolds is a 2003 graduate of Marymount with a Bachelor of Artsin Psychology and also has a Master’s of Public Health fromPitt. Away from the field, Reynolds is a certified personal trainerand avid runner, finishing five marathons. She is married to JonReynolds, Marymount's men's lacrosse head coach.
