Robert Cable

Robby Cable is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) based in the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area. He is currently in his first year as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Marymount University.

Cable brings experience training athletes across youth, high school, collegiate, and elite levels. His coaching background includes roles with Black’s Athletic Club, Homefield Sports Performance in Kansas City, and MedStar Health Physical Therapy, where he developed a strong foundation in individualized, team, and private performance training.

In addition to his collegiate role, Cable is the owner and operator of Tidal Fitness LLC, a sports performance training company partnered with Tidal Beach Volleyball, that focuses on training and developing athletes. He also partners with X-Factor Volleyball Club and runs strength and conditioning sessions for all their club teams.

A former collegiate baseball player, Cable competed at the Juco (Hagerstown CC, 2019-2020), NCAA Division III (Marymount University, 2020-2023), and NAIA (Avila University, 2023-2025) levels. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Marymount University and his master’s degree in Kinesiology from Avila University.
