Nora Hanlon enters her first season as the graduate assistant women's lacrosse coach at Marymount ahead of the 2025 season.
Hanlon started and played in all games as a draw specialist midfielder for West Virginia University's women's lacrosse team. Ranking nationally as the no. 2 draw specialist in the WCLA-D1 as a freshman, she led her team to their three winningest seasons before graduating a semester early. She received five team awards during her three seasons of competition.
Hanlon graduated summa cum laude from West Virginia with a degree in sport and exercise psychology while double minoring in scholastic coaching and human services & counseling.
After spending time on two doctoral research teams, Hanlon became passionate about the connection between an athlete's experiences and the lasting impacts it has on their performance.
While at Marymount, Hanlon will pursue a masters in clinical mental health counseling, with the ultimate goal to become a sports psychologist at a university level.
