Nikki Simhambhatla enters her first season as the Marymount University Tennis Graduate Assistant Coach ahead of the 2025–26 season.
Returning to Marymount for her second year with the program, she competed as a graduate student-athlete and served as the women’s team captain during the 2024–25 season. She finished the year with an 11-0 singles record, primarily at the No. 2 position, and an 8-2 doubles record, earning First Team Atlantic East honors in both singles and doubles, as well as Atlantic East Player of the Week and All-Academic Team recognition.
A 2023 graduate of Sweet Briar College, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. While at Sweet Briar, she was a First Team All-ODAC selection in both singles and doubles, a CSC Academic All-District honoree, and recorded notable wins over NCAA Division I and II opponents.
She began her collegiate career at NCAA Division I Western Illinois University, where she led the team in singles victories as a freshman.
