Lizzy Kienstra enters her second season as the head athletic trainer at Marymount in 2024-25.
Kienstra oversees all facets of the sports medicine department, providing services to all 23 of Marymount's varsity athletics teams.
Kienstra brings vast experience and knowledge to Converse Family Fieldhouse, having stints at various other institutions across the NCAA.
Most recently in the collegiate athletics world, Kienstra was an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Kansas State, where she was assigned to women's basketball, women's golf, and women's soccer in varying years.
Prior to her time in the Big XII, she was an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Saint Louis University, where she oversaw women's soccer, men's and women's swim and dive, and women's basketball.
Kienstra holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in exercise science with a certificate in interprofessional educations and a Master's of Athletic Training degree, both from Saint Louis University.
