Gabbi San Diego enters her first year as Marymount Women's Basketball's Graduate Assistant Coach.
San Diego comes to Marymount after a decorated career for Christopher Newport University as a point guard.
A two-time selection to the Coast-to-Coast All-Tournament Team, she was named the 2023-24 Coast-to-Coast Tournament MVP. During CNU's run NCAA Tournament run in 2023, she was selected to the NCAA Division III Championships All-Tournament Team.Â
In her junior season, San Diego ranked second nationally in assist-to-turnover ratio at 2.50.Â
A three-time selection to the Coast-To-Coast All-Academic Team, she was also named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District in 2023.Â
She was a local high school product from South County and grew up in Lorton, Va., where her family still resides.Â
