Daniel Neben

Daniel Neben enters his third full season as head men's golf coach in 2024-25. He assumed the role prior to the start of the spring portion of the 2021-22 season. 

Neben will lead the Saints into its first year as an associate member of the MASCAC fresh off its first conference championship and NCAA appearance in program history. The Saints boasted four All-Conference selections en route to the 2024 Atlantic East championship. Since joining Marymount for the spring 2022 season, Neben has coached six All-Conference selections and the 2024 AEC Rookie of the Year, Chase Manion. For his efforts, Neben was named Atlantic East Coaching Staff of the Year in 2024. 

During the 2022-23 season, he coached first-year Roger Sauvage to a First Team All-Conference selection. He also coached Jackson Newton to an individual title at the LVC Dutchmen Invitational. In his first season with the Saints, Neben coached Luke Burnside to a Second Team All-Conference selection. 

Neben, a 2011 graduate of the University of California, Irvine, comes to Marymount via TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm, where he serves as the Director of Instruction. Prior to his current role, Neben served as a Teaching Professional and as an Assistant Golf Professional at the PGA Tour stop. 

He has also served as a Golf Professional at the Army-Navy Country Club and East Potomac Golf Course in the DMV. 

Neben was elected to PGA Membership in 2014 and was a 2021 PGA Professional Championship qualifier. In 2016, Neben earned a top-30 ranking in the MAPGA 2016 Omega POY points list. He earned a spot on the 2018 and 2019 U.S. Kids Golf Top 50 Instructor list and was named as one of Golf Digest's Best Young Teachers in America for 2021-22.
