Marymount University

Corinne Ellington is Marymount University's Director of Athletics Communications.

In this role, she serves as the primary contact for women's soccer, cross country, track & field, softball, men's volleyball, women's lacrosse, and women's basketball. Her main responsibilities are leading the athletic communications office's creative output and handling game day operations and statistical work. 

Before joining the Marymount team, Corinne earned her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration from Mississippi State University. She graduated early and with honors during her undergraduate studies, then immediately pursued her Master’s degree. Before Marymount, Corinne gained valuable experience in athletic communications at the SEC level with Mississippi State. There, she served as the head student statistical writer for the men’s basketball team and was the primary student contact for the men’s tennis team. Corinne also worked as the head project manager for a sports website based in Jackson, Mississippi, where she researched, wrote, edited, and published content covering 34 colleges in Mississippi.

Creatively, Corinne has experience in graphic design, photography, and physical art. She worked with a professional photography company and as a freelance photographer. She uses her artistic background in athletics to create digital and physical artwork on commission. Her specialty is social media, where she can combine her creative and photography background.

Corinne lives in Arlington, Va. with her partner Isaiah Wilson and her dog, Boo.
