Brett Kelley '22 enters his third year as a volunteer assistant coach under head coach Mike Cassidy ahead of the 2025 season.
Kelley was a four-year member of the Saints baseball program, posting his best season as a senior in 2022. He finished the year off with a 2.33 ERA, striking out 19 batters in 19.1 innings pitched.
During his time as a student-athlete at Marymount, Kelley reached outside of the ball field to gain valuable experience and be an ambassador for Marymount Athletics. He was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and served as treasurer in the 2021-22 school year. During the entirety of his four-year stint, he served the role of volunteer initiative group leader, helping set up and lead volunteer efforts for the program.
He brings prior coaching experience to his role for Marymount baseball, currently serving as youth baseball coach and instructor for Prime Time Baseball out of Alexandria, Va., where he has served since 2020. He also spent time with the Washington Nationals Professional Sports Camps, spending time as a division lead coach and residential experience coach from 2016-20.
Kelley graduated from Marymount Cum Laude in May 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in History with minors in Business Administration and Sociology. He was a member of the National History Honor Society and Alpha Lota Sigma Chapter.
Kelley has since received his Master of Arts in History from George Mason University, which he completed in December 2024.
Apart from his role with Marymount, he serves as an Auxiliary Programs Coordinator at St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School in Alexandria, Va.
