Aleasha Checo enters her first year with Marymount Athletics in 2024-25.
In her role as assistant athletic trainer, Checo provides sports medicine support to student-athletes from all 23 of Marymount's varsity sports.
Checo spent the spring 2024 semester working with Marymount sports medicine in a clinical setting getting hands-on athletic training experience. She also completed clinical athletic training hours with George Mason University, the Jackson Clinics Physical Therapy, and Thomas Jefferson High School for Science & Technology.
Checo completed her Bachelor's of Science degree in kinesiology from George Mason in 2021 and her Master's of Science degree in athletic training from George Mason in 2024.
While at Mason, she also worked in the recreation department as the Graduate Assistant of Well-being. In this role, she supported university-wide well-being programming in collaboration with various campus office and departments.
