ARLINGTON, Va. -- The Atlantic East Conference released their men's and women's tennis postseason on Friday afternoon, highlighting nine total Saints on AEC All-Conference Teams across the men's and women's program.
Eshan Degamwar and
Rebhi Villasmil picked up AEC Major Awards to add to the decorated season for Marymount's program. Degamwar earned Player of the Year with Villasmil picking up Rookie of the Year honors.

Eshan Degamwar - Player of the Year - First Team All-Conference Doubles - First Team All-Conference Singles
Degamwar continued to dominante the conference, garnering Player of the Year for the second-straight season.
The former AEC Rookie of the Year went 13-2 overall on the season, 12-2 at #1 singles and 1-0 at #2, while going a perfect 4-0 in conference singles match ups.
In doubles play, the three-time All-Conference recipient touted a 10-3 record in duals matches.
Rebhi Villasmil - Rookie of the Year - First Team All-Conference Doubles - First Team All-Conference Singles
Villasmil stood out in his first season on the court for Marymount.
Garnering Rookie of the Year honors, Villasmil sported a 12-7 overall record in singles, while going 4-0 in AEC action.
In doubles play, the Woodbridge, Va. native went 11-6, 3-0 in the conference to help lead to the Atlantic East Championship.
Gunek Singh - First Team All-Conference Doubles - First Team All-Conference Singles
Singh followed up his Rookie of the Year campaign in 2024-25 with yet another dominant season on the court.
Going 10-10 in singles matches, the sophomore was seen all throughout the line up, but playing primarily at the #3 spot, going 8-4 in those matches. He was a perfect 4-0 in the AEC.
Singh went 3-0 in AEC doubles matches to help dominate the season.
Sofi Plotkin - First Team All-Conference Doubles - Second Team All-Conference Singles
Plotkin, with teammate
Avery DeFazio, went 3-1 in doubles match ups on the season to earn her first career postseason honor.
The senior added a First Team Singles accolade after going 2-2 in AEC matches on the season.

DeFazio added another First-Team All-Conference in doubles matches to her awarded career.
With teammate Plotkin, Defazio went 3-1 in the conference, capping off her career with a strong senior season.
Joaquin Sigala - First Team All-Conference Doubles
Sigala, earning his first postseason accolade after his first season, earned First Team All-Conference Doubles with teammate Degamwar.
The doubles team, with Sigala in top form, went 8-1 overall on the season, 2-0 in AEC action.
Nathaniel Tesfaye - Second Team All-Conference Singles
Tesfaye earned his second career postseason accolade to cap off a great career at Marymount.
Picking up Second Team Singles honors, Tesfaye touted a 7-5 overall record on the season, while going a perfect 4-0 in the conference.
Olivia Clontz - Second Team All-Conference Singles
Clontz had a strong first-year season, leading to a Second Team Singles accolade to kick off her career in a big way.
She went 3-1 in the AEC, while sporting a 6-6 overall record in the #3 spot in the lineup for the Saints.
