YORK, Pa. -- Marymount men's wrestling competed at the New Standard Invitational, hosted by York College of Pennsylvania, this weekend, bringing home a pair of placewinners.
As a team, the Saints finished seventh out of 16 teams, pulling in 62.5 points.
TOP FINISHERS
- Tallion Elliott Jr. stood on the podium for the Saints, finishing third in the 165 lbs bracket, dropping a pair of pins and a major decision in the early bouts. This is the second podium finish for the junior on the season, placing third in the Lycoming Invitational earlier this season.
- Mohammed Fofana placed fifth in the 197 lbs. bracket, notching a pin and two total falls along the way, to earn his third placement of the season.
UP NEXT
- Marymount will finish 2025 at the Wilkes Open on Friday, Dec. 19.
- In the New Year, the Saints will travel to Lexington, Va. to compete in the Jim Cryzter Invitational, hosted by Washington & Lee.
