SWIM: Saints Dominate at Conference Tri-Meet

IMMACULATA, Pa. -- Marymount men's and women's swimming dominated the pool on Saturday in a tri-meet at Immaculata against the hosting Mighty Macs and Marywood Pacers.

Each team picked up a pair of dual wins to improve their overall and AEC records on the seasons.

RELAY TOP RESULTS INDIVIDUAL TOP RESULTS
  • Annabelle Tarrant set a personal best in the 200 freestyle event, placing first at 2:01.39. She also finished at the top in the women's 1000 freestyle event with a time of 11:03.29 and the 200 yard breaststroke at 2:40.48..
  • Ryan Faherty set a season best time of 1:50.58 to place first in the men's 200 yard freestyle, also finishing second in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 22.97, a personal best. He picked up a first place finish in the 400 IM with a time of 4:28.54 to add to his day.
  • Evan Pak hit a season best mark in the men's 100 breast with a time of 59.01 to finish first. He continued his day with a personal best time in the 50 freestyle at 23.30, a third place finish. Later in the meet, Pak won the 200 yard breast with a time of 2:15.87, another season best.
  • Ilana Hawkins set her season best in the 100 breast, finishing first with a time of 1:13.70. She picked up a second place finishes in the 50 freestyle (26.95) and 100 freestyle (1:00.06) to add to her day.
  • Nathan Bruley picked up a season best time in the 1000 freestyle, winning the event with a time of 10:14.82. He continued his impressive day with a 5:01.82 showing in the 500 freestyle, winning the event and setting a season best.
  • Garrett Watson placed first in the men's 200 butterfly event with a time of 2:05.47, setting his season best mark. He added a second place finish in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:11.76, a season best.
  • Carsten Hicks won the men's 100 butterfly event with a time of 53.71.
  • Lillian Crawley won the women's 100 freestyle with a time of 58.32, also placing second in the women's 200 freestyle with a finishing time of 2:06.92. She continued her day with a personal best outing in the 400 individual medley event at 5:03.09, winning the event.
  • Garrett Peck won the 200 yard backstroke event with a time of 2:07.77, also adding a third place finish in the 400 IM (4:38.63).
  • Luke Claudy won the 50 freestyle event with a time of 22.87 and the 100 freestyle at 49.08.
  • Addison Muhlenkamp won the women's 100 backstroke event with a time of 1:04.65. She continued her day with a season best time of 2:19.90 in the 200 backstroke to earn second.
  • Noah Popp placed first in the men's 100 backstroke with a time of 53.03, going on to finish second in the 100 freestyle at 49.72.
  • Alexandra Pette placed first in the 100 butterfly at 1:07.15, also grabbing third place in the 100 backstroke (1:06.76).
  • Sydney Runk picked up a second place finish in the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 11:55.82. Later in the day, she finished second in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:50.06, a season best mark.
  • Daniel Caldwell placed second in the men's 200 butterfly with a time of 2:10.48, a season best mark. He went on to hit a season best in the 100 freestyle with a time of 51.78, earning the third spot.
  • Vincent Tran took second in the men's 100 backstroke at 55.55, also nabbing third in the 100 butterfly at 57.38.
  • Landon Watterson placed second in the men's 100 breast with a time of 1:06.95. He continued his day with a season best outing in the 200 breast at 2:30.11, a season best mark.
  • Miah Lopez placed second in the women's 100 breaststroke at 1:14.83, going on to place second in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:32.86. She rounded out her day with a third place finish in the 200 breast with a time of 2:49.22, a season best.
  • Cara Craig placed second in the 100 yard backstroke event at 1:05.72, going on to place third in the 400 IM at 5:21.84.
  • Seth Reinsel set a personal best in the 1000 freestyle event, nabbing second with a time of 10:42.04. He went on to take third in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:12.57, a season best.
  • Alexander Hain placed second in the men's 200 yard freestyle at 1:54.43. Later in the meet, he placed second in the 400 IM with a time of 4:35.13.
  • Devin Coster placed third in the men's 1000 yard freestyle with a finish of 12:41.17.
  • Matthew Jones nabbed a third place finish in the men's 200 yard freestyle, hitting a time of 2:00.77. He moved on to place third in the 200 yard backstroke at 2:16.19.
  • Benjamin Clabeaux finished third in the men's 100 yard backstroke with a time of 56.30, going on to finish second in the 100 butterfly with a time of 57.03.
  • Gian Matabang placed third in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:08.23, setting his season best. He went on to place third in the 200 breast with a finish of 2:30.29.
  • Anya Barbins hit a season best 1:01.49 in the 100 yard freestyle, earning a third place finish.
  • Payton So placed third in the women's 100 butterfly with a time of 1:07.37.
