SALEM, Va. -- Marymount men's and women's cross country hit the road this weekend to compete in the South Region Showdown. The women's team finished 12/20 in their 6k race while the men ran an 8k. The team put on quiet the performance and get to take some time to rest ahead of the Atlantic East Conference Championship on November 1st. 

 NOTABLE

• Brier Amerlinck once again led the pack, finishing 45th out of 200 in the 6k with a time of 24:16.0. 
• In 70th, Abby Hughes ran across the finish line in 24:58.5.
• First-Year Gabriela Titone (89th) and Senior Madeleine Paré (90th) both had their top 100 finishes.
• Gabrielle Weirsky finished her race in 26:51.5, slightly ahead of first-year Kayla Turner who finished in 27:53.0.
• Sophomore Elizabeth DellaCorte and freshman Maria Pullen were the last two women from the Saints to finish. 
• On the men's side, Henry Brys was the top Saint finisher with a time of 28:45.3.
• Alexander Youmans ran across the finish line in 31:09.0.
• Freshman Bryan Guerra Villatoro ran with a time of 32:54.8.
