ARLINGTON, Va. - Marymount Associate Athletics Director for Student-Athlete Development, Ryan Wildenhain, has been announced as one of 21 athletics administrators across all three divisions of the NCAA as a member of the 2024-25 Pathway Program, announced by the NCAA this afternoon. 

The Pathway Program is described as a "yearlong learning opportunity to help prepare participants for roles as athletics directors or conference commissioners." 

The program, which was created in 1997, "is an intensive, experiential learning opportunity for selected participants who work at an NCAA school or conference in Divisions I, II or III." Wildenhain will spend time during the upcoming school year learning from various mentors and collaborate in educational programming to enhance his skills in all areas of athletics direction. 

Wildenhain started his career at Marymount in July of 2015, holding the title of Head of Sports Medicine. He was promoted to Assistant Athletics Director for Sports Performance before ultimately being promoted to his current title of Associate Athletics Director for Student-Athlete Development. He will be entering his 10th year with the Saints in the upcoming school year.
