Tennis Sweeps Marywood on Senior Day

ARLINGTON -- It was a fitting way to conclude their home slates as Marymount women's and women's tennis handled Marywood by wide margins on Saturday afternoon. 

NOTABLE
  • In doubles on the women's side, Ariana Kombou and Sofi Plotkin outlasted their opponents in a tiebreaker to earn the team point. 
  • Shannon King picked up her second win in three matches at No. 6 singles. 
  • Angelica Dalton got back in the win column for the first time this spring with a convincing 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 4 singles. 
  • On the men's side, Alex Hain saw action for the first time this season and picked up his first career win at No. 5 singles. 
  • Jose Torrecillas bounced back from a first-set loss to rally and win a third-set tiebreaker to take the team point at No. 3 singles.
