OCEAN ISLE, N.C. -- Marymount men's and women's golf opened the spring slate of competition with a trip down south for competition during spring break. The women's golfers, led by
Noelle Jensen, finished in a tie for third out of 13 teams, while the men's golfers, led by newcomer Jonas Zajicek, finished 13th out of 17 teams.
NOTABLE
- In his first action as a Saint, Zajicek shot 78-81 over two days to lead the men's golfers.
- Day two on the men's side was highlighted by a career-low round of 86 by Sean Mantua and season-lwo round of 80 by Jackson Newton.
- Noelle Jensen led the women's golfers with a pair of 79s on her scoreboard to finish in a tie for fifth. It was her lowest two-round score of the season.

- The men's golf team will close out spring break at the PCT Spring Break Challenge in Southern Pines, N.C. on March 11-12.
