ARLINGTON -- Marymount men's wrestling hosted three teams on Sunday afternoon, including a pair of NCAA Division I foes (Morgan State and VMI) and a top-20 NCAA Division III oppoent (Averett). Despite three tough losses on the team side, there were a number of impressive individual performances on display in the Converse Family Fieldhouse. 

NOTABLE

• Tallion Elliott Jr. earned the highlight of the day with an emphatic 23-5 technical fall over a top-10 ranked opponent from Averett. After giving up the first takedown, he finished the match strong with several takedowns of his own and a few near falls.
• He also added a 21-8 major decision over Morgan State to finish the day with a 2-1 record. 
• Rylan Moose also went 2-1 on the day.  He earned a pair of workmanlike decisions over VMI and Averett. 
• Also picking up individual wins on the day were Temuujin Erdenetuya and Ian Morales.
• Erdenetuya dispatched his opponent from Averett with a pair of takedowns in a 7-2 decision. 
• Morales topped his opponent from VMI by an 11-7 final score. 
• Joseph Redden also earned a forfeit victory for the Saints.
