HAGERSTOWN, Md. - Marymount men's golf teed off their 2023-24 season at the Cardinal Fall Classic hosted by Catholic University over the weekend.
Strong showings from the team, led by fifth-year
Cameren Dawkins, put the Saints in a strong spot heading towards the rest of their fall slate.
TEAM SCORE
- The Saints finished eighth out of nine teams with a final scoring of 632 (+56).
INDIVIDUAL SCORES
- Dawkins finished the tournament with a new low score in 36-hole play, shooting 157 (+13) over the weekend. His score of 77 on day one tied an 18-hole low for the fifth-year.
- Mark Rodoff, in his first tournament for MU, posted a 79 on both days, good for 158 (+14).
- Chase Manion and Roger Sauvage finished in a tie for 32nd at 159 (+15). Sauvage improved his score on day two by seven strokes.
- Jackson Newton finished the weekend with a final scoring of 167 (+23).
- Sean Mantua rounded out the competitors for Marymount, finishing with a final score of 182 (+38).

- The Saints will next head to Scranton, Pa. for the Gino Biondi Memorial hosted by Marywood from Oct. 14-15.
