ARLINGTON – It was a total team effort from top to bottom on Saturday afternoon as Marymount men's and women's tennis picked up strong 6-3 wins over Stevenson.  

HOW IT HAPPENED

• On both the men's and women's side, Marymount and Stevenson found themselves tied 3-3 after doubles and the first three singles matches.
• Avery DeFazio, Angelica Dalton, and Ariane Kombou closed out the Mustangs with individual wins at No. 4, No. 5, and No. 6 singles on the women's side of things.
• Kombou pulled out the win in the third set tiebreaker, 10-5.
• DeFazio, Dalton, and Fabienne Fritz won in both doubles and single.
• To close out the victory, the Marymount men's team needed a third set tiebreaker at No. 4, No. 5, and No. 6 singles, with all three Saints clinching victories.
• Adam Stanulis and Ian Martin, both first years, took clutch victories under pressure.
• Sophomore Nathaniel Tesfaye came back to win  at No. 6 singles after dropping the first set.
• Eshan Degamwar and Nicolas Stromberg won in both doubles and singles.
