STAUNTON, Va. -- Marymount women's tennis brought home the Golden Acorn Invitational title over the weekend while dropping only a single match. On the men's side, the Saints finished in second place after falling in the doubles tiebreak to Bridgewater.
The event consisted of teams of teams of six competing in a Davis Cup style format with two doubles and two singles matches with a deciding tie break if the final score was tied at 2-2. Teams competing included Bridgewater, Ferrum, Mary Baldwin, and Trinity (women's only).
