LEESBURG, Va. - For the second straight year, Marymount cross country hosted the Atlantic East Championships on their home course at Morven Park. 

On the day, the women placed second in the conference, with the men placing fourth. 

NOTABLE

• Mikayla Stephens, in her first championship race of her career, finished runner-up individually in the women's race. 
• Stephens and Avery Finnegan were named First Team All-Conference.
• Abby Hughes and Gabrielle Weirsky were named Second Team All-Conference.
• Ariana Grant was awarded the AEC Elite 20 Award. 

TEAM RESULTS

• The women finished runner-up at the meet, notching a score of 40, just six points behind the champion Marywood.
• The men finished in the fourth spot with 103.

WOMEN INDIVIDUAL RESULTS

• Stephens finished runner-up in the women's race at 25:13.0.
• Finnegan notched sixth with a final time of 26:36.0.
• Hughes, another first-year, finished eighth with a finishing time of 27:50.8.
• Weirsky notched 12th with a time of 29:31.8.
• Grant came across in the 16th spot at 31:31.5.
• Madeleine Paré had a final time of 33:14.7.

MEN INDIVIDUAL RESULTS

• Cameron Parvizian had the top finish for the men, coming across in 20th with a clock time of 32:07.6 in the 8k race.
• Louis Aquilina came in just behind at 21st with a time of 32:27.5.
• Zafit Olea finished 25th with a time of 33:20.0.
• Abdul Yakubu had a finishing time of 38:34.4.
• Gustavo Barrera rounded out the finishers with a time of 40:54.7.
