ARLINGTON, Va. – The Marymount swim program swept St. Mary's and Immaculata in the final dual meets of the regular season on Saturday afternoon inside the Lee Center Pool.

TEAM RESULTS

• On the men's side, MU squeaked out a 124-118 victory over St. Mary's and handled Immaculata, 197-31.
• On the women's side, MU topped St. Mary's 178-64 and Immaculata 197-42.

TOP RELAY FINISHES

• Marymount took the top two spots in the women's 200-yard medley relay and the top spot in the men's 200-yard medley relay.
• Marymount also took the top two spots in the women's 200-yard freestyle relay.
• In the men's 200-yard freestyle relay, the Saints took second and third place. 

TOP INDIVIDUAL FINISHES

• Isabella Ochalik finished in first in the women's 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:55.88. She also won the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:13.14.
• Ochalik's teammates Lillian Trussell (6:07.26, 2nd) and Cara Pocono (6:18.19, 3rd) picked up personal bests in the women's 500-yard freestyle.
• Ari Koerner finished first in the women's 50-yard backstroke (30.55) and 100-yard backstroke (1:05.30).
• Marymount went 1-2-3 in the women's 50-yard breaststroke with strong performances by Tidawee Srun (32.59), Becca Lazerson (33.05), and Madison Grubb (34.94).
• Srun also won the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:10.61.
• The Saints also went 1-2-3 in the women's 100-yard butterfly led by Brooke Dittlinger (1:03.59), Ochalik (1:07.84), and Grace Tarantino (1:12.82).
• Dittlinger (28.24) and Ilana Hawkins (29.05) went 1-2 in the women's 50-yard butterfly.
• MU also swept the women's 50-yard freestyle thanks to Hawkins (27.04), Delaney Carey (27.27), and Madelyn Schirching (27.78).
• Trevor Cairns (50.45) and Laine Eary (50.78) went 1-2 in the men's 100-yard freestyle for the Saints.
• Cairns also topped the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:50.57.
• Carsten Hicks (24.19) and Justin Singletary (24.57) went 1-2 in the men's 50-yard butterfly.
• Ethan White (26.04) led the field in the men's 50-yard backstroke.
• Alex Hain won the men's 100-yard IM with a time of 57.38.
• Garrett Peck picked up personal-bests in the men's 100-yard IM (58.72, 3rd) and 50-yard back (27.19, 2nd). Other personal bests on the men's side included Tommy Wilcoski (200-yard free – 2:21.29, 8th) and Jacob Collins (100-yard back – 1:18.11, 6th). 

UP NEXT

• The men's and women's swim team will close out the season at the Atlantic East Championships.
• Competition will take place at St. Mary's College from Feb. 10-12.
