BERKELEY SPRINGS, W. Va. - MU women's golf took home a first place finish in their first tournament of the season at the Shenandoah Fall Invitational. The Saints picked up the win with the help of a first-place individual performance from a newcomer, and strong showings from familiar faces. 

Team Finish

• With the cancellation of competition due to weather on the second day of the tournament, the Saints used their powerful showing on day one to take the top spot. The team finished with an overall score of 312, +24, to take the three stroke advantage over Bridgewater College. 

Individual Finishes

• In her first outing for the Saints, first-year Noelle Jensen finished at the top of the leaderboards with an under-par showing. She finished with a final scoring of 71, good for -1. 
• Hunter Gillis, coming off of her Golfer of the Year campaign in 2021-22, finished in a tie for second at 76, +4. 
• Kate Parsons rounded out the top-ten finishes for the Saints, coming in at a tie for 5th with 79, +7. 
• Peyton Kraras finished in a tie for 16th with a score of 86, +14, with Ally Zelkowitz coming in at a tie for 17th with a score of 89, +17. 
• Phuong Le, Gina Carvelli, and Hannah Lampe each had strong showings for the Saints in their first tournaments of the season.
