GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. - The Marymount University men's tennis team swept Gwynedd-Mercy in its conference opener on Saturday.

Michael Miller and Dorian Guiot won 8-0 at #1 doubles, with Nicolas Stromberg/Nikhil Misra taking an 8-4 decision in the second spot.

Miller (a 6-1, 6-0 winner at #1 singles) and Guiot (a 6-0, 6-1 victory in the #3 spot) each dropped just one game on the day as they added singles points.

Stromberg won 6-1, 6-0 at #2 singles. Lwazi-Enno Rennert took a 6-4, 6-1 win in the fourth spot.

MU improves to 2-6, 1-0 Atlantic East, and will play two more conference opponents in the area over the next two days- at Immaculata (Sunday) and at Neumann (Monday).
