SALISBURY, Md. - The Saints swimming program started off their season in a dual meet at Salisbury University, hosted by the Seagulls.
Salisbury ultimately took the meet by a final score of 192-69, but showed promise for the Saints as they look towards the season ahead.
Relay Finishes
- The Marymount women's 200m medley relay team, consisting of Ari Koerner, Tidawee Srun, Delaney Carey, and Brooke Dittlinger, finished in the second spot with a time of 2:09.96.
- Men's 200m medley relay, with Ethan White, Ryan Faherty, Carsten Hicks, and Justin Singletary, notched a second place finish with a time of 1:52.29.
- For the women's 200m freestyle, the women's team of Koerney, Dittlinger, Carey, and Madelyn Schirching, the Saints picked up second with a time of 2:00.81.
Individual Finishes
- White took the 100m backstroke top finish with a time of 1:02.19.
- Srun grabbed the top spot in the women's 100m backstroke with a finishing time of 1:18.13. She also took the top spot in the 200m breastroke with a time of 2:47.62.
- Garrett Peck took second in the men's 100m breastroke with a time of 1:14.61.
- In the men's 100m freestyle event, Singletary finished second with a time of 56.87, while also finishing second in the 100m butterfly with a time of 1:01.86.
- Faherty nabbed the top finish in the 200m breastroke with a time of 2:37.58.
- Carey, in the women's 100m butterfly, finished second with a time of 1:11.93.

- The Saints will head to Cabrini for a tri-meet with St. Mary's (Md.) on Oct. 29th for their next event.
