WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Marymount University men's swimming team concluded its regular-season slate on Saturday afternoon at Catholic University, falling 204-39.
The Saints had a handful of top-three finishes in the meet, including a first-place finish to end the day in the 200-yard freestyle relay.
Senior Tedd Pham missed a top individual finish by just .1 seconds in the 200-yard breaststroke, clocking a time of 2:22.34.
Juniors Gabriel Loring and Max Klemm also each scored third-place finishes, as Loring came through in the 1000-yard free with a time of 12:56.52 and Klemm touched the wall at 53.28 in the 100 free.
In the 200 free relay, Loring and Klemm teamed up with senior Mathew Landivar and freshman Dezi Vereen to take an 11-second victory over Catholic with a time of 1:21.36.
The Saints now prepare for the three-day Atlantic East Conference Championships at Marywood University, starting on Friday, February 14. For more information on the championship, click here.
