SALISBURY, Md. – The Marymount men's swim team slipped up on the road to Salisbury University on Saturday afternoon, falling in the Capital Athletic Conference dual meet, 132-69.
Three Saints found top spots in their respective races for the meet, paced by the efforts of junior Isaiah Jones with two. Jones pushed out a fingertip victory in the 50-meter freestyle, touching the wall in 24.68, just .03 faster than the second-place finisher from Salisbury. He followed it up in the 100-meter free with a top finish of 54.88.
Junior Ian Griffith came through in the 100-meter butterfly, touching the wall in a time of 2:19.21.
Freshman Max Klemm rounded out the top individual finishes in the 200-meter IM, posting a time of 2:19.21.
Marymount will return home for its final home meet of the season and Senior Day on Saturday, January 27. First race is scheduled for 2 p.m., in the Rose Bente Lee Center.
