LANCASTER, Pa. – Marymount University women's volleyball junior Mykael Johnson was named the Atlantic East Conference Player of the Week for the fourth time, this season, the league announced on Monday.
Johnson led the Saints to a 3-0 week, including three-set sweeps of Neumann University and Marywood University in conference play.
She posted 17 kills against the Pacers, with a .455 hitting percentage. She added another 17 kills in the same day against Lebanon Valley College, as part of a tri-match. Johnson had an overall strong day in the tri-match, adding five service aces and six digs against Marywood and four aces, nine digs, and three blocks against Lebanon Valley.
For the week, she finished with 40 kills, 11 aces, 22 digs, and five blocks.
Johnson and the Saints will return to action on Tuesday, October 22, hosting Stevenson University. The match is set for 7 p.m.
