ARLINGTON, Va. - The Virginia Sports Information Directors announced the Women's Lacrosse College All-State Team on Friday, as Marymount University's women's lacrosse team saw great representation in seniors Jessica Crew and Bridgette Stacom.
Both first in their careers, Crew was named to first team as an attacker and Stacom earned a spot on second team as a midfielder.
Crew had wrapped up a prolific career with offensive dominance her senior season, totaling 103 points and 93 goals, both of which are single-season program records. She added 54 draw controls, seventh in program history for a single season, 21 ground balls, 11 caused turnovers, and 10 assists. She was a two-time Atlantic East Offensive Player of the Week and a First-Team All-Atlantic East honoree. She graduates the program as the career goal leader (255) and second in career points (292).
Stacom also concluded a fantastic career offensively and at the draw. In her senior season, she set the single-season record of draw controls with 125 in the process of becoming the career program-record holder with 292. She had 69 points for the season off 52 goals and 17 assists, finishing her career with 135 goals for third in program history. She was also a First-Team All-Atlantic East honoree.
