LANCASTER, Pa. – Marymount University women's basketball sophomore Katie McShea was named the Atlantic East Conference Player of the Week for the second-consecutive week, the league announced on Monday.
McShea led the 10th-ranked Saints to their sixth-straight victory to open the season, with a, 77-43, win over Stevenson University on Tuesday.
She netted a game-high 18 points, while pulling down nine rebounds, which tied for the game high. McShea added four assists to lead the team and tacked on one steal and one block.
McShea has now earned the conference Player of the Week for the fourth time in her career, while earning the award this season on November 25.
The Saints will be back in action on Monday night, hosting Hood College on December 2 at the Converse Family Fieldhouse; the opening tip is set for 6 p.m.
