Women's basketball moves up to No. 14 in WBCA poll

LILBURN, Ga. – The Marymount University women's basketball team moved up three spots in the Women's Basketball Coaches' Association NCAA Division III Top 25 Coaches' Poll to No. 14 in the country, the organization announced on Tuesday.

The Saints opened their season last week with three wins to earn 82 points in the poll. Marymount defeated Shenandoah University, 64-39, to open the season, before taking the Pablo Coto Tip-Off Tournament championship with wins over Haverford College, 41-33, and The Sage Colleges, 69-46.

Marymount moved up from No. 17 in the WBCA preseason poll, following the 3-0 week.

The Saints will return to action on Wednesday, November 20 at Salisbury University; the opening tip is set for 6 p.m.
