GREENWOOD, Ind. – The College Sports Information Directors of America have announced the 2018-19 NCAA Division III Academic All-District men's and women's basketball teams on Thursday. Marymount University senior Brandon Rogers was named to the District 5 men's team, and junior Regan Lohr was named to the District 5 women's team.
Lohr is a Psychology major and holds a 3.93 grade-point average, while ranking second on the team with 15 points per game, which is also good for third in the Atlantic East Conference.
She has played in and started all 25 games for Marymount this season, while leading the team and ranking third in the Atlantic East with two three-point makes per game. She is shooting 34.7 percent from behind the arc on the year.
Rogers, a Business Administration major, has posted a 3.95 GPA to earn the honor for the third-straight season.
Despite missing time this season due to injury, Rogers currently ranks fifth on the team with 9.8 points per game, while shooting 34.1 percent from three, good for third on the team. He leads the team with 2.3 three-pointers made per game.
Both basketball teams are next in action in the Atlantic East tournament semifinals. The top-seeded women play host to fifth-seeded Immaculata University on Thursday, February 21 at the Converse Family Fieldhouse, while the third-seeded men travel to second-seeded Marywood University on Thursday. Both games are set to tip at 7 p.m.
