Pham Collects Top Finish To Pace Men's Swimming At Yellow Jacket Invitational

RICHMOND, Va. - The Marymount University men's swimming team closed out the two-day Yellow Jacket Invitational on Sunday afternoon with a 10th-place finish as a team, collecting 239.5 points over 36 events.

Senior Tedd Pham led the way with three top-15 finishes including the lone individual victory for the Saints. He opened Saturday with a fifth-place finish in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:00.94. He followed it up with a time of 54.41 in the 100 butterfly for 13th. On Sunday, he cruised to a top finish in the 200 breaststroke, touching the wall at 2:12.12.

Junior Max Klemm claimed two top-20 finishes for the weekend, collecting a 19th-place finish in the 50 freestyle (23.21) and 15th in the 200 backstroke (2:07.92). 

Seniors Nicholas DiSanti and Scott Bockisch each had a top-20 finish as well, as DiSanti came in at 16th in the 200 backstroke (2:09.06) and Bockisch claimed 20th in the 200 butterfly (2:14.08)

The Saints take the holidays off and return to competition in the New Year, taking on Division I Howard University on January 18. Start time is set for 2 p.m., in Washington, D.C.
