Pham, Klemm lead Saints in first Atlantic East action at Cabrini

RADNOR, Pa. – The Marymount University men's swimming team competed in its first Atlantic East Conference meet of the season on Saturday, falling to Cabrini University, 129-71.

Senior Tedd Pham led the way for the Saints. He finished first in the 200-yard butterfly in 2:08.06 and the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:16.86.

Junior Max Klemm also added a gold medal in the 400-yard individual medley, finishing in a time of 4:32.88.

Klemm and Pham, along with seniors Scott Bockisch and Nicholas DiSanti, took first in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:43.62.

Bockisch also contributed to the Saints' day with second in the 200-yard butterfly (2:15.01) and third in the 500-yard freestyle (5:52.04).

Senior James Powers grabbed a silver medal in the 50-yard freestyle in 23.76 seconds, while junior Gabriel Loring took second in the 1000-yard freestyle in 13:38.06.

DiSanti added two third-place finishes in the 200-yard freestyle and the 200-yard backstroke, finishing in 1:59.16 and 2:13.75, respectively.

Powers rounded out the Saints' day with third in the 100-yard freestyle, finishing in 54.45 seconds.

The Saints return to action on Saturday, November 16 at Marywood University in another Atlantic East meet, beginning at 1 p.m.
