SALISBURY, Md. - The Marymount University men's swimming team opened up the 2019-20 slate on Wednesday evening at Salisbury University, dropping a 109-65 decision.
Senior Tedd Pham and junior Max Klemm combined for three top honors in their individual events in the meet, as Pham grabbed first in both of his races and Klemm took first in one of his two. Pham took first in the 200-meter individual medley with a time of 2:21.38, and followed it with a time of 1:09.49 in the 100 breaststroke for first, just over a second off of the pool record. Klemm had a top finish in the 100 butterfly, clocking a time of 1:00.55 for nine points.
Senior Nicholas DiSanti added seven points for the team, taking second in the 200 freestyle (2:12.39) and third in the 100 backstroke (1:08.50).
The Saints return to the pool on Saturday, October 19, hosting Goucher College and Gallaudet University for a tri-meet in the Rose Bente Lee Center for Homecoming Weekend. First race is set for 1 p.m.
