Coffin, Dobak Lead Men's Golf To Fourth-Place Finish At Atlantic East Championships

CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. - The Marymount University men's golf team rounded out the Atlantic East Conference Men's Golf Championship on Saturday afternoon, finishing with a 531 (+95) to take fourth through the 27-hole two-day event.

Leading the way were junior John David Coffin and senior Justin Dobak, each tying for second place with cards of 120 (+11). Coffin came through with a 75 (+3) in the final round, while Dobak was just one stroke behind with a 76 (+4). Each fell short of the individual champion from Cabrini University, David Gall, who was tabbed Men's Golfer of the Year with a 119 (+10). 

Coffin and Dobak were each named to First-Team All-Conference.

Sophomore Ivan Pech tied for 18th with a score of 139 (+30), while junior Thomas Farrell and freshman Cole Ardoline rounded out the group with 152 and 156, respectively.
