Saints finish ninth in Glenn Heath Memorial

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Marymount University men's golf team finished ninth in the 2019 Glenn Heath Memorial on Tuesday, which was hosted by The Apprentice School, carding a 698 (+122) as a team.

Junior John David Coffin continued to lead the team, as he tied for ninth in the event. He finished with a 157 (+13) on his card. With a 78 (+6) during round two, on the par 72 course, he moved up four spots from his day-one finish.

Seniors Daniel Stone and Justin Dobak finished just two strokes apart to take 51st and tie for 54th, respectively. Stone carded a 177 (+33), while Dobak shot a 179 (+35).

Sophomore Ivan Pech placed 60th in the competition, finishing with a 185 (+41), while junior Thomas Farrell rounded out the Saints' efforts, tying for 64th. Farrell carded a 189 (+45).

The Saints will close out their 2019 season in their next competition at the Atlantic East Conference Championship at the Country Club of Scranton in Scranton, Pa., beginning on Friday, April 26.
