Coffin placed fourth to lead Saints in Eagle Invitational

STAFFORD, Va. – The Marymount University men's golf team took part in the Eagle Invitational, hosted by the University of Mary Washington over the weekend, placing ninth with a 678 (+11) at Augustine Golf Club.

Junior John David Coffin led the Saints, carding a 150 (+8) to place fourth overall in the two-day event.

Marymount had senior Justin Dobak also finish in the top 15, taking 14th with a 159 (+17).

Sophomore Ivan Pech (183, +41), senior Daniel Stone (186, +44), and Cole Ardoline (202, +60) rounded out the weekend for the Saints.

Also, Marymount junior Thomas Farrell competed in the competition as an individual player, carding a 176 (+34).

The Saints will be back in action in the three-day Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate at Paradise Point Golf Club in Camp Lejeune, N.C., beginning on Friday, April 5.
