Hanson Earns First Career All-CAC Honor, Named to First Team

YORK, Pa. - Marymount women's volleyball junior Caroline Hanson earned her first career all-conference honor on Tuesday as she was one of eight players named to the 2017 All-CAC Volleyball First Team. She is the 22nd player to earn All-CAC honors under head coach Beth Ann Wilson.

Hanson is also the fifth All-CAC First Team selection for the Saints in the last five years.

The national leader in Division III with six triple doubles, Hanson leads the team with 224 kills this season, an average of 2.87 per set. She is also third on the team with 189 assists, fifth with 184 digs and third with 32 total blocks.

A two-time CAC Player of the Week selection this season, Hanson has totaled 582 career kills, including a career-best 224 this season. She has also added 1,401 career assists and 758 career digs.

Marymount hosts Rutgers Camden tomorrow night at 7 p.m., inside Verizon Sports Arena in the first round of the 2017 ECAC Division III Women's Volleyball Championship.
