DANBURY, Conn. – For the second-straight day, sophomore guard Regan Lohr is being honored for her efforts on the court last week, being named ECAC DIII South Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
Lohr had a great week on the court, averaging 20.5 points, five rebounds, three steals, two assists and three three-pointers per game in a 2-0 week for the Saints. Both wins were in CAC play, including a win over then-No. 6 Christopher Newport University, as Marymount remains the only team in the league with an untouched 6-0 record.
The Crofton, Maryland currently leads the Saints in scoring while ranking fourth in the CAC with 13.8 points per game, while leading the CAC in free-throw percentage with an impressive 86.3 percent at the line. She has made 44 free throws this year thus far, good enough to rank her third in the league.
This is Lohr's second recognition by the ECAC, earning DIII South Rookie of the Week on February 12, 2017.
Marymount hits the road on Wednesday, January 10 for its next game, traveling to Wesley College for a league matchup. Tipoff is slated for 6 p.m.
